Abstract

The article argues that Mossad's public Farsi-language message during Iran's December 2025 protests marked a dangerous shift toward overt psychological warfare, with an intelligence agency openly inserting itself into domestic unrest. Topics include public intelligence messaging as statecraft, foreign interference during economic-driven protests in Iran, and the erosion of traditional boundaries between covert intelligence and political provocation.
