Abstract
The article reviews Christopher J. Coyne and André Quintas's analysis of participatory populism, drawing on Charlotte Twight and Holcombe to show how political capitalism creates the illusion of mass participation while elites retain disproportionate control. Topics include participatory political capitalism, elite-mass dynamics, and the epistemic and incentive limitations of populist movements.
