Abstract
The motif of the Supernatural Lapse of Time in Fairyland (Mot. F 377) plays an important role in the motif repertoire of medieval fiction: however, it has been little studied in medieval French texts. The article aims at giving examples found in the Arthurian romances and lais of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries, from Guingamor (and from Walter Map's De Nugis Curialium) to Meraugis de Portlesguez.
